WBX

The World Bet Exchange, or WBX, is a new state-of-the-art bet exchange which is actively seeking to enhance the person-to-person betting experience through a focus on bespoke technology, increased platform reliability, diversity of product base, enhanced customer service and unique Member incentives.

WBX’s business plan is to aggressively market to the existing bet exchange audience while actively looking to promote the advantages of exchanges to the leisure betting market.

A key facet of WBX’s marketing strategy has been the promotion of strong brand awareness through race sponsorship, and having sponsored over 300 races last year at a wide cross section of Britain’s tracks, WBX is now one of the biggest horse race sponsors in Britain. WBX are proud to work alongside Arena Leisure, Jockey Club Racecourses and Northern Racing to provide sponsorship across their courses and are looking to establish similar links with Scottish Racing and the Irish Racecourses in the near future.

WBX’s flagship sponsorships during 2006 were the Grade One Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle, Sandown’s Group Three Henry II Stakes, and the Group Two Princess of Wales’s stakes at Newmarket.

WBX’s sponsorship of the Fighting Fifth Hurdle was enhanced by the inception of the WBX Hurdling Triple Crown, a unique bonus scheme linking Britain’s three Grade One two mile hurdles (The Fighting Fifth, Kempton’s Christmas Hurdle and the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham), where £1million was up for grabs for the winner of all three races.

WBX will continue with the WBX Hurdling Triple Crown bonus in 2007, and will maintain its support of British horse racing with an extensive sponsorship programme.

As well as sponsoring over 300 races, WBX currently have over 50 Annual Boards in place at various courses across the country. These boards are produced by RTA Publicity, who are responsible for maintaining all WBX branding (Raceday and Annual Boards).
